8/1 First day in office after new year and meeting Sofea

Went to the for the first time after new year. And also met Sofea, our marketing intern, previously. She's really nice and bubbly and gave me a chocolate and a note. I kinda feel bad for not communicating to her as much tbh during the internship period. But honestly I'm really bad at virtual communication.

Honestly i didn't feel like writing about the day as I got the in the morning.

But we did the demo, talked about the plan for new year. Faw is gonna work on refactoring the app to use next-forge and convex. Lizzie gonna work on content. and Ashvin, probably content too, customers stuff, and some frontend work.

After work, I went straight to my parent's house.

Then we had dinner with my mom's friend family. She is a psychologist and she had dealt with family members with stroke before. I think her father and her husband had strokes before. She gave us advice on how to navigate the health recovery options, which hospital or doctor, potential recovery options, e.g speech therapy, flushing the blood, just meds, etc. And how to deal or communicate with my dad as the patient.

It's interesting to see Rangga, her kid that I met like 10 years ago. He's so big and muscular now. Made me feel like I should workout too. But tbh, it's not really priority and maybe it's luxury and privilege i can't have right now. And the time and money is better spent on working and my financials. Anyway they are really nice, they treated our family for dinner, we visited their house, and gave us Mixue on the way back.

On our home, one of relatives from Indonesia were visiting. And since the beds are given to them, and there is barely any room left, I just go back to my house around 12-1am.
