9/1 - Best hospitals to visit for stroke?

I went to my parents house just after Friday prayer.

Anyway we were discussing on which hospital to check?

So far my parents have been to the HKL gov hospital. And they waited like 24 hours there, and the response was not much can be helped except preventing the next stroke and giving meds prescription.

My mother tried to insists on getting the scans or test results. But apparently they can't give it. You have to request for it in some department, which we did, but then we'll only get it next months.

I wonder the reason for this? to prevent ppl exploiting the gov to get cheap tests, and then go to private hospital using the tests result? it doesn't make much sense.

So far, from my parents friend. We were recommended UMSC or Prince Court in KL for second opinion. And also Abdi Waluyo hospital in Jakarta. I'll probably need to research more on this hospitals. From reddit, all three of these seems to have good review.

The other ones mentioned are HPUPM or HSAAS which national stroke centre.

They just went to get an appointment for UMSC today. Which will be on Monday.
